WHAT IS SEA GLASS?

Amelia

One of our key components of all of our pieces - sea glass. But what is it and where does it come from?

Sea glass starts as waste bottles, jars and other glass that gets tossed into the ocean.

Years and years of being bashed around by wind, rocks and sand, tumbles the glass removing all of the jagged edges and making it smooth and frosted. On average it takes 7-10 years to turn waste glass into a piece of sea glass.

No two pieces are ever the same

The sea tumbles every piece slightly differently. Each piece will have it's imperfections, which is what makes each piece unique!

The glass is then washed up on the shores of beaches all over the world and then collected by us and used in our designs.
